Description
This San Giorgio stuffed shells recipe is creamy, rich, and indulgently cheesy. A classic comfort food featuring ricotta-stuffed pasta shells nestled in marinara sauce, topped with melted mozzarella and baked to perfection.

- box San Giorgio Jumbo Shells
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese (plus extra for topping)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook shells according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Fill each shell with about 2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara on the bottom of a 9×13” baking dish.
- Arrange stuffed shells in the dish. Cover with remaining sauce and sprinkle with mozzarella.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil, bake for an additional 5–10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
- Swap ricotta with cottage cheese for a lighter version.
- Want extra flavor? Mix in sautéed spinach or ground beef to the filling.
- Use oven-ready shells to skip boiling altogether.
