- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 packet brown gravy mix
- 1 tbsp flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Roll the mixture into 12 meatballs and place them on a baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes.
- In a skillet, melt butter and sauté onions until soft.
- Stir in the flour, then slowly add beef broth and the gravy mix. Whisk until smooth.
- Simmer the gravy until it thickens.
- Add the baked meatballs to the skillet and let them simmer for 5–7 minutes.
- Serve warm over mashed potatoes or rice.
Notes
- For added richness, try using half ground beef, half ground pork.
- Add mushrooms to the gravy for an extra layer of flavor.
